Level 1

Informally mentors more junior members of their team around basic work skills.

Level 2

Mentors several team members informally, and is active in setting up mentoring relationships across their discipline. Thoughtful about the personal development of others.

Level 3

Formally mentoring others as a meaningful part of their role. Tasked with team development either as a manager or senior team member. Measured on the growth of mentees and looks for other mentoring relationships to support.

Level 4

Active in setting up internships, formal training programs and cross-discipline mentoring relationships. Thinks about developing diverse and meaningful relationships in others. Champions mentors and mentees in front of senior staff.
